Okayyyy, so I love the Goody Wave Creator! It worked really well for me...I did have a few curls come out wonky, that I had to work a little to fix, but that also happens to me with my straightener (that's what I usually use to curl my hair). It actually happens a lot more frequently with the straightener...so it ended up taking less time overall and I really liked how it turned out. I even had a girl at work tell me my hair was cool...and 15 year old girls really know what cool is right?? I think that Grav3yardgirl (who is so hilarious, I've started watching all her videos) has a different type of hair than I do, so maybe that's why it worked better for me? I don't know. I have really fine hair, but a ton of it...it's pretty easy to style and usually holds a curl well. All I know is, it's one of the best presents I've bought myself in a while.
So I had a good start to the day with my hair working and all, and then right before I leave for work at 1:00 I realize I've misplaced my wallet...couldn't find it before I had to leave but I was 99.998% sure it was somewhere in my house, so I wasn't too too worried about it. I did have to borrow lunch money today, which wasn't terrible, because all my co-workers are AWESOME and never mind stuff like that. So I got home around 9:40ish and resumed the hunt...finally found it, right when I was about to have a panic attack and finally admit to myself that I LOST it lost it. Where? Underneath the couch, waaaaay at the back. I'm just happy I found it! I had a whole purse stolen last summer, and it was such a headache to fix! I live about 5 hours away from my hometown Htown, and the credit union I bank with does not exist here, so I had to convince them to let my mom get my new debit card and mail it to me. I also had to borrow a phone to call my credit cards and let them know, because of course my phone was in there too. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It was the first time I'd ever had anything truly stolen from me, and it was a really bad feeling. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I made it to 21 before something like that happened, but really all I did was cry to my mom over the payphone. Its funnier now than it was then, but still not that funny. So....in conclusion, a day that starts well and ends well is a good day in my book, despite the in-between parts. Hopefully tomorrow is splendiferous from start to finish though...going to do a little early morning shopping and then representin Relay for Life for my company, yeayah! As for tonight, going to work on one or more of the many papers and projects I have due at the end of this glorious semester. Here's to senioritis!!!
